Create custom DirectShow Filters without DirectShow API knowledge using the MontiVision DirectShow Filter SDK
To implement application specific functions into the system, simply create a DirectShow® filter. There are two ways to create your own filter.
1. Use the DirectShow SDK. This requires a lot of knowledge about DirectShow®.
2. Use the MontiVision Development Kit Filter SDK. This encapsulates the DirectShow® interface and greatly simplifies the creation of a filter. The MontiVision Filter SDK help page describes this process in detail. This DOES NOT require a lot of knowledge about DirectShow®.
