How To: Find a certain DirectShow Filter
The MontiVision Workbench application shows all available filters in the "filter bars". These bars are only visible after selecting a filter type. On the left side of the main window there are five buttons to show or hide them. You can make a filter visible by simply clicking on one of these buttons. Each filter bar has three categories (Source, Transform and Renderer) and each category may have additional subcategories. The MontiVision Workbench sorts every available filter into one of these, and unknown filter types are listed in the "General" filter bar under the "General" subcategory. If you cannot find the filter in any of the filter bars, you can open the Sort Filter Dialog. There is a list of all all available filters on the left. Once you find your filter, you can select it and the combo boxes on the right side will refresh themselves, revealing where to find the filter in the relevant filter bar.
If the filter is not available on the filter bar, then make sure that the filter is installed and registered on your system.
