How To: Change DirectShow Filter properties through their Property Pages
Nearly all filters have customizable options that alter their behaviour. These filters use property pages to edit these options. You can open a dialog which loads these pages by double clicking on the filter or pin. Some pins have their own properties. Alternatively you can select a filter or pin and use the Properties command in the Graph menu or simply select the Properties command from the context menu (right mouse click).
Properties can be changed in any play mode, allowing you to change the behaviour of any filter "on the fly" and see the result immediately.
