The MontiVision Blob Editor is part of the MontiVision Workbench. This application allows to setup MV Blob Counter and MV Blob Finder filter within a filter configuration.
The application creates blob filter parameter out of some input images so you can easily setup the MV Blob Finder/Counter. At first you have to grab some images from your objects. For example use the MV Image Grabber filter like in the filter graph below.
On the left side toolbar from the Blob Filter Editor you have to select the folder with the grabed images. Select on image from the list and setup the blob finding function with the controls below the image list.
The right toolbar contains the filter setup function.
The Blobs list contains all found object from the current selected image. The training modus uses the Cur Values of the object to calculate the filter parameter. After starting the training modus select the object you want to detect and press Valid. After finishing all objects from on image press the Apply button and select the next image. The Stop button finished the hole process.
The Bob Filter Parameter controls contains the current blob filter parameter. Now you could make a fine tuning. You can save the parameter into a filter for later use or setup the selected filter from the current filter graph directly.
