The MontiVision Watchdog filter monitors a video stream and sends filter events on period time overflows.

| Enable Watchdog | Enables the watchdog filter funktion. |
| Timeout period | Maximum allowd period between two samples (video frames). Ist the time between two samples greater the filter sends a MV_WATCHDOG_RELEASE_EVENT. If no period time overflow occours anymore the filter sends a MV_WATCHDOG_FINISHED_EVENT event. |
