MV Deinterlace DirectShow Filter

The MontiVision Deinterlace filter is used to deinterlace interlaced video. It uses two simple but fast methods. Either the odd lines of the video frame are doubled or the even lines are interpolated from the odd lines above and below it.

Attention! The information of one field of the interlaced video frame will be lost after applying this filter. To deinterlace a video and keep both fields, use the new MV Deinterlace Temporal filter which doubles the output framerate and outputs two full size fields instead of one frame.
